Instead of waiting days for micro deposits to confirm your account, Plaid can verify your information in just a few clicks, helping you start transferring money sooner.
What is Plaid?
Plaid is a secure service that helps confirm you own an external account when adding it for transfers. By securely verifying your account information, Plaid streamlines the setup process so you can move money between financial institutions more quickly and conveniently.
Previously, connecting an external account for transfers required waiting for small trial deposits, known as micro deposits, to appear in your account over several days. With Plaid, account verification can be completed in hours or less.
To add an external account using Plaid, simply login to CEFCU On-Line® or Mobile Banking, select Transfers and Payments from the drop down menu, then select Connect External Account. Follow the prompts to securely verify your external account.
Once your account is verified, you'll be ready to transfer funds between your CEFCU account and your external financial institution.
