CEFCU’s Board of Directors is comprised of volunteers who meet regularly and serve on board committees to administer the business of your Credit Union. Your Board Nominating Committee has recommended these candidates — based on their business, administrative, and leadership skills — and willingness to devote their time and energy to CEFCU.
Tim Brunton
Tim held many positions at Pekin Insurance Company prior to retiring after 32 years, his most recent was Assistant Vice President of Commercial Lines Underwriting. Tim joined the CEFCU Board as an Associate in March 2021 and became a Board member in April 2022. Tim serves on the Building/Marketing/Technology Committee, Chairs Credit Committee and serves on the Executive Committee.
Todd Bryant
Todd holds a CPA and CPCU designation and has 31 years of experience with RLI Insurance Company, retiring from the position of CFO at the end of 2025. Todd joined the CEFCU Board as an Associate Board member in August 2010 and became a Director in 2014. Todd currently serves on the Building/Marketing/Technology, Bylaws, Executive Compensation, and Supervisory Committees.
Jada Hoerr
Jada is the Chief Resource Officer at Midwest Food Bank. Jada joined the CEFCU Board as an Associate in March 2021 and became a Board member in April 2022. Jada serves on the Building/Marketing/Technology, Employee Relations and Credit Committees.
Bob Metzinger
Bob recently retired from Altorfer Inc. after serving for 30 years as Vice President of the company. He also has several years of management experience with Caterpillar Inc. and with other Caterpillar dealers around the country. Bob has been a Board member for 29 years. He currently serves as Chair for the Bylaws, and also serves on the Employee Relations, Executive Compensation, and Nominating Committees. Bob has chaired the Board twice.
Jennifer Strickland
Jennifer has worked at Caterpillar for more than 20 years, and currently leads as the Global Director of Integrated Services within the Electric Power Division. Jennifer has served on the CEFCU Board since 2021, joining as an Associate and transitioning to a Board member in 2022. Jennifer currently serves CEFCU on the Bylaws, Employee Relations, and Supervisory Committees.
Heather Thomas
Heather has been with Caterpillar for 24 years, her current position is Global Strategy Manager. Heather joined the CEFCU Board as an Associate in February 2025. Heather currently serves on the Building/Marketing/Technology, Bylaws, and Supervisory Committees.
