Peoria, IL – A $40 million Extraordinary Dividend was approved by CEFCU’s Board of Directors and distributed to the Credit Union’s member/owners. The amount each member received was determined by dividends earned and interest paid during the first 11 months of the year. On December 1, funds were deposited to members’ Savings accounts.
Over the last 23 years, CEFCU has returned $455 million in Extraordinary Dividends to members. CEFCU Board Chairman, Kavita Sachdev, stated, “This Extraordinary Dividend is the direct result of CEFCU’s strong financial results and continued member loyalty. It is just one of the many ways that CEFCU consistently delivers better to member/owners each and every day.”
Matt Mamer, CEFCU President/CEO, added, “Credit Unions exist for members, not for profit; so, when business is good, those benefits are returned to the member/owners. Thank you to members for your continued support, the CEFCU Board of Directors for your guidance and leadership, and to the CEFCU team for providing members with superior service.”
